Fabio Silva Hits Back At Wolves Criticism After Securing La Liga Loan Move

### Fabio Silva hits back at Wolves criticism after securing La Liga loan move Fabio Silva has hit back at criticism of his performances at Wolves after securing a loan move to La Liga side Anderlecht. The 20-year-old striker has struggled to make an impact at Molineux since joining from Porto for a club-record fee of £35 million in 2020. He has scored just four goals in 51 appearances for Wolves and has been criticized for his lack of goals and poor work rate. But Silva believes he has been unfairly targeted and that he has not been given a fair chance to prove his worth. “I think I have been criticized for cosas that maybe I didn't deserve,” he told Sky Sports. “I think sometimes I didn't play as much as I wanted to, and maybe I didn't have the confidence of the coach. “But I think I always gave my best, and I always tried to help the team. I think I scored some important goals, and I think I showed that I can be a good player. “I think I needed a change of scenery, and I think Anderlecht is the perfect place for me to go and show what I can do.” Silva has signed a season-long loan deal with Anderlecht, and he is determined to make a success of his time in Belgium. “I'm very excited to be here,” he said. “I think Anderlecht is a big club, and I think we can have a good season. “I want to score goals, and I want to help the team win trophies. I think I can do that here, and I think I can show everyone that I'm a good player.” Silva is not the only Wolves player to have left the club on loan this summer. Morgan Gibbs-White, Ki-Jana Hoever, and Ryan Giles have all also been sent out on temporary deals. Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to trim his squad and bring in some new faces before the start of the new season.
