Fabio Silva Convinced He Succeeded At Rangers And Las Palmas Loan Transfer Proves It

Fabio Silva convinced he 'succeeded' at Rangers and Las Palmas loan transfer proves it

Fabio Silva's loan spells at Anderlecht, Rangers and Las Palmas have been met with mixed reactions, but the striker believes he has 'succeeded' during his time away from Wolves

Fabio Silva believes his loan spells at Anderlecht, Rangers and Las Palmas have been a success, despite failing to nail down a regular starting spot at any of the clubs.

The Portuguese striker joined Wolves from Porto for a club-record fee of £35 million in 2020, but he has struggled to make an impact at Molineux, scoring just four goals in 63 appearances.

Silva has been sent out on loan three times in the past two seasons, but he has yet to find a club where he can play regularly. He made just 10 starts for Anderlecht in the first half of the 2021-22 season, and he only started four times for Rangers in the second half of the campaign.

Silva's loan spell at Las Palmas has been more successful, with the striker scoring five goals in 14 appearances. However, he has still not been able to establish himself as a regular starter, and he has been used as a substitute on several occasions.

Despite his struggles to find a regular starting spot, Silva believes that his loan spells have been a success. He told Portuguese outlet Mais Futebol: "I think I succeeded in all three loans. I played in different leagues, with different coaches, and I learned a lot.

"At Anderlecht, I played in a very physical league, and I learned how to be more aggressive. At Rangers, I played in a more technical league, and I learned how to play with more patience. At Las Palmas, I'm playing in a more attacking league, and I'm learning how to score more goals.

"I'm still only 20 years old, and I'm still learning. I'm not worried about not playing regularly. I'm just focused on improving my game, and I'm sure that I'll eventually find a club where I can play regularly and score goals."

Silva's loan spells have been a mixed bag, but he has shown that he has the potential to be a top striker. He is still only 20 years old, and he has plenty of time to develop. If he can continue to learn and improve, he has the potential to be a valuable asset for Wolves in the future.
