Former Minnesota Gophers football player Casey O'Brien has been diagnosed with cancer for the 8th time.

The 38-year-old O'Brien, who played for the Gophers from 2002 to 2005, was first diagnosed with cancer in 2013. He has since been diagnosed with cancer seven more times, including twice in 2022.
