Canucks And Oilers Set For Game 7 Thriller

Canucks and Oilers Set for Game 7 Thriller

Edmonton Forces Deciding Matchup in Western Conference Second Round

Game 7 between the Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers is set to take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

In a thrilling Game 6, the Oilers overcame a 2-0 deficit to defeat the Canucks 5-1 and force a winner-take-all matchup. Leon Draisaitl led the Oilers with a goal and two assists, while Evander Kane added a goal and an assist. Connor McDavid chipped in with three assists, including a key helper on Draisaitl's game-tying goal.

The Canucks will be looking to rebound after a disappointing performance in Game 6. Elias Pettersson and Bo Horvat were held scoreless, and the team was outshot 34-21. However, Vancouver has won two of the three games played in Vancouver this season, including a 3-2 overtime victory in Game 4.

The Oilers, meanwhile, will be aiming to continue their recent momentum. They have won two straight games and have outscored the Canucks 9-3 in that span. The winner of Game 7 will advance to the Western Conference Final to face the Dallas Stars.
